Randy Sellars, the director, took it down to LA and got some great feedback. Hopefully we'll get some investors soon so we can start filming the series. :)

Lastly, if you click here, you can see some Nike stuff that I worked on. We show off the clothes on the website and if you click on me, I'll do a work out exercise. It's pretty nifty.

"Only You" Karaoke Music Video

In March, I had the fantastic oppertunity to work with Karl Lind (In The Can Productions, LLC) on his karaoke music video submission for the PDX Karaoke Throwdown Festival. Also on the shoot was actor Aaron Thomas, DP Nate Goodman, and lighting help from John Bacone. The shoot was definitely a good time all around; we filmed in Ground Control arcade and played a lot of intense pac man. :)

Festivals

This has been an exciting month of festivals. First off, "I Would Rather" (see post below) made it into the Northwest Emerging Artist Competition in the Salem Film Festival. It will be showing on the 18th at 2:15 PM. Click the above link for more details.

Age Sex Location also made it into the Northwest Emerging Artist competition, however this one is a feature length. It will be screening the following day at Sunday, April 19th at 7:30 p.m.. Check out the trailer on the website.

The Waiting List showed this week at the Phoenix Film Festival! Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the screening, but it played 3 nights and was recieved well, with many laughs, from the audience. Check out more about the waiting list at Front Ave Productions

In other news, I filmed a karaoke music video a few weeks ago with Karl Lind for the Portland Karaoke Throwdown festival. The video should be ready for viewing in the near future!

I also took some new headshots with Tais Kulish, one of my favorite photographers of all time. :) The new images will be up soon!

It's been a while since I've updated you all with acting, so here is what I've been working on for the past couple months:

Vicky Vixen Web Series
This fantastic web series, directed by Randolph Sellars, is about a socially awkward compulsive reader, Victoria, who creates an imaginary superhero verson of herself, Vicky, and her journey of trying to fit in (and sometimes failing miserably).
We're currently filming the promo trailer. We've already shot 4 days, and have 3 more to go! There will be a longer update on this soon with more production stills.

The Calico Diner
I heard exciting news yesterday that they have just completed post on this project! The Calico Diner was directed by Travis Zariwny, and I acted opposite actress Delilah Anderson. This was a blast to film; it was a challenging role that explored the problems and benefits of society and aloneness.

I Would Rather
I Would Rather won "Best Newcomer Award" in the DVXUser.com Twilight film festival. I have also submitted to several film festivals. Notification dates are in a few months.
Somehow I Would Rather ended up on youtube. I didn't put it up there, but you can click here to watch it.

Fred Meyers Jewelers Commercial
I worked on a Christmas Fred Meyers Jewelry commercial with director Greg Penner. Here's a screen shot!

Nike Training Club
I booked a Nike Training Club work out video with Kamp Grizzly. It's a cool program that helps design workouts for you, and I was one of the exercise models. Here are some screen shots:

The List
I worked on a short film directed by Gage Choat called "The List". It was a quick and fun shoot. The comedic script had some fun changes and I'm excited to see the finished project. Screenshot below.

This was my second photoshoot with Tais Kulish, and we also had Christina Kortum on set, who I've worked with several times now on the Vicky Vixen web series. The Waiting List

I am currently working on a feature called "The Waiting List" directed by Mike Vogel and produced by Front Ave Productions. Check out their production blog here.
I play one of the leads, Ella. In the film, my character must deal and confront her fear of pregnancy. Along her journey, she seeks comfort and advice from her new friends.

Shooting "In The Gray"

This past week I was working on "In The Gray", a short film directed and written by Rob Holloway. I got the awesome opportunity to work with Chad Lindberg and we got to do a scene together! I also got to meet Lee Arenberg, George Katt, Courtney Edwards, Marty Klebba and many other fantastic people!

It was a wonderful cast and crew, and an overall amazing production!
